Hyundai launches new HCV contenderHyundai Automotive South Africa today launched its new heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) contender; the Mighty EX8.

With a gross vehicle mass (of 7 800 kg) that is 300 kg greater than its nearest competitor; as well as larger, more comfortable cabs (20 percent larger than the outgoing model) and a class-leading warranty, the company aims to bring maximum value and low total cost of ownership to its targeted buyers – small, medium and micro enterprises.

The biggest news is the class-leading factory warranty, which offers four years of unlimited mileage. This is complemented by a 20 000 km service interval and three-year/200 000 km roadside assistance.

The range is priced from R379 500.
